 Before releasing, we had 1500 hard miles on this turbo setup with absolutely ZERO issues.  Our shop Ranger Northstar Crew Cab is ridden hard, used daily for work around the shop, town cruiser, and must be reliable for long 100+ mile trail rides.  The difference in performance is night\/day and actually makes driving the vehicle fun while being safer as it will actually get out of its own way now.  Our Crew Cab model gets up and runs with traffic no problem on the daily.  This is a must for all, but especially those with heavy crew cabs.  It really makes your Ranger XP feel more like a RZR 1000, or even a bit better depending on vehicle weight.\u003c\/li\u003e\n  \u003cli\u003eQuiet \u003cem\u003eand\u003c\/em\u003e more power?  Well it can be with our Quiet Core while being clutched for the right RPM.   Adding the turbo means we need to add clutch weight to keep RPM in check.  While this motor will spin up over 8000 RPM with this kit and be fast, we've dyno'd and prefer to run them around 7500-7800 RPM.  When adding heavier clutch weight for the extra power, it also drops cruising RPM in most cases.  If you want even lower cruising RPM, you can clutch for 7200-7300 peak RPM and not have an issue.  This is a big factor because if you want performance from a stock\/tuned Ranger XP, you must lighten the clutch weight for more peak RPM... therefor cruising RPM also goes up along with noise.\u003c\/li\u003e\n  \u003cli\u003eIncluded is the easy to use PV3 tuner loaded with our AA custom tune.  This tune is extremely well dialed in after many tune revisions and testing.  Other companies that make cheaper kits are not including all of the pieces to this puzzle, and are also not including tuning that works so well.  Keeping the throttle at 100% for full power is a struggle with all the torque limiters built into these vehicles.  Other tunes fall on their face and are shoving air into a partially closed throttle blade.  We are experts in ECU calibrations and this will show.  Fueling and timing is very dialed in to work at different elevations and temperatures.  What you get from purchasing the turbo kit from us is a smooth, almost stock running Ranger XP Turbo.... just with WAY more power.\u003c\/li\u003e\n  \u003cli\u003eRear mounted turbo keeps heat away from the engine and is a larger turbo that is spooled very quickly by the high compression of the naturally aspirated engine.  Turbo is designed not to restrict exhaust flow, just add the needed pressure with high volume.  Excellent response and power that is smooth like you'd expect from a factory machine.\u003c\/li\u003e\n  \u003cli\u003eNon-intercooled setup.  The great part about low boost and high volume air is lower air temperatures! See more information on this device HERE  \/  See how to use this device HERE Big horsepower gains depending on the level of tune\/modifications (see tune descriptions below for more details) Much quicker throttle response and power delivery giving a whole new feel to the vehicle Throttle by wire limiters disabled Fan on\/off at 185\/180 degrees Fahrenheit (Stock is 205\/192) which is just above the thermostat opening temp. Speed limiter removed in low and high gears Seatbelt Limiter Removed Start in Any Gear with Brake More throttle % in low gear and reverse as the factory limits these gears to not open the throttle fully Rev limit at a safe 9200 RPM (stock is 8800).  Ideal peak RPM @ 55 MPH is 8400-8600 with the flash, but 9200 is for ramp up overshoot\/top speed. AA's wicked timing curve is safe for the fuel octane recommended, but we do a much better job of finding timing limits for ramp up\/more torque.  Many others simply focus on wide open throttle timing\/fueling.  AA's tunes are developed for 91 octane unless specified otherwise. AA's modified fuel curve will still get decent mileage cruising, but is corrected over the factory lean AFR when needed most on higher throttle inputs. Included Level 2 Tune :  This tune is developed for an XP1K with aftermarket exhaust on 91-93 octane.  It has just a bit more timing and a bit more fuel over Level 1.  This tune adds +7 RWHP peak and a massive +9 RWHP at 30 MPH (This is gaining roughly +10-11 crank horsepower) putting you at roughly 125 crank horsepower with just a flash and exhaust!  We would highly suggest our clutch kit with this tune to help with belt grip and to help drive the extra power to the wheels.  Due to how these motors\/tuning works, this tune should work with about any aftermarket exhaust, but was tested and designed with our AA slip-on exhaust. Looking for race fuel tunes?  We were also, but unfortunately we found no real power increase by adding octane.  Certainly a little extra octane is never a bad thing to keep your ECU from pulling timing based on engine knock, but we tried various attempts to make more power with no significant results. Why AA tunes over others?  We have been tuning UTV's with CVT clutches for a long time, longer than almost anyone in our field going back to the 800 RZR.  Tuning a CVT vehicle properly is not an easy task as you have so many variables at one time.  We spend the time to wheel dyno(with actual UTV tires) correctly per modification, and have advanced ECU calibration and clutching knowledge to do so. Every change in horsepower can result in us changing clutching several times. We also develop most of our supporting mods so we know everything works correctly, and build parts to fit the vehicles needs.  Lastly and honestly the most important; we then back up our results with real world data logging on local trails and our facility on 110 acres.  It's this combination that truly makes the difference and why AA normally has a faster vehicle with the same or less rated tune horsepower. We left nothing on the table on the XP1K bolt-on parts, if others claim more power\/gains for the same mods use caution in believing it! The 2024+ XP 1000 is clutched very odd from the factory.  The vehicle winds out RPM right from the gate and does not transfer any torque until you hit peak RPM.  This is somewhat of a race setup, but really all around it does not work well.  Our kit helps combat this with our helix specifically designed for this model, along with our weights and springs that are all key components in transferring power to the rear tire efficiently.  This is shown on the dyno and felt in real world driving (butt dyno).  The clutch kit also adds huge belt grip and is especially needed when going to larger tires.  The Performance helix gains the most acceleration, while the High Load helix is a little more than stock but less aggressive for excessively heavy\/large tires, crawling, or mud riding. Our \"Cruiser\" setup (listed in the included clutch setup sheet) is for those looking for less cruising RPM and less noise.  The '24 RZR XP1K has a higher running RPM from the factory and is extremely loud for a stock machine.  The cruiser option loads the primary clutch weights heavier with the included magnets.  No need to purchase a completely different kit if looking for a quieter ride.  This setup drops peak RPM down to roughly 7500-7800 RPM instead of 8300-8600 like factory.  This does lose a bit of horsepower, but if that's not your concern, this setup works extremely well for eliminating that brain rattling buzz.  This setup also has even smoother engagement, crawls very well, and still has plenty of acceleration.  Think more of a cross between a Ranger and RZR as far as acceleration and feel.   The best part is you are not stuck with this setup.  You can simply revert back to our standard clutch setups whenever wanting more performance.  Switching the weights takes 15-30 minutes for most and gives you a chance to clean up\/inspect your clutches. High Load Helix 1067: Slightly less aggressive than the Performance helix with good acceleration gains\/power transfer over the OEM helix.  Designed to work better for heavier vehicles, heavier tires, heavy sand load or crawling type riding in mind.   Works on 2 \u0026amp; 4 seat models with 30-35\" tires or 30-33\"  paddles.   Excellent all-around helix!   Performance Helix 1068:   Aggressive helix with acceleration\/higher horsepower\/aggressive fast pace drivers in mind. Works best with a tuned vehicle.  Works on 2 seat models with  30-32\" Tires.  Not suggested for 4 seat models. EBS (Engine Braking) Options: Keep EBS: Like factory.  Most slower pace riders (mud, crawling or very hilly terrain) will keep the EBS in place.  Gets rid of the chatter noise but there is a decel whine. Remove EBS: Removes the EBS pocket in the helix.  Gets rid of the roller clunk noise but there is a decel whine.  Most faster pace trail riders\/racers or dune riders will choose to remove it. Installs easily by plugging into your MAP sensors, battery power, and mounting the switch (optional, you do not have to mount it) Air\/fuel ratios extensively tested and verified at each tune level.  The Maverick R models are a wideband type sensor\/ECU, so they automatically trim fuel to the requested air\/fuel ratio.  In rare cases like extreme cold, a fuel control box may be needed if fuel trims are not able to adapt (it will throw a code, but highly unlikely) Safety parameters to protect your motor and turbocharger are still in place Easily return back to stock with the rotary switch to \"Stock\" mode, or by removing the AA Boost Control Box with no trace left in the ECU Boost Control Box vs ECU tuning: While we would always prefer to calibrate a vehicle by modifying OEM ECU parameters, it's simply not an easy task on these vehicles due to the insane 2048 bit security.  The Boost Control Box allows us to do what is needed for level 1-4 to increase the boost pressure \u0026amp; power output.  This gives the biggest benefit\/seat of the pants feel and is all that is needed to put a smile on your face as you wax your buddy.    The Maverick R  factory ECU calibration is quite decent, but we are missing out on some things we'd normally do... like removing the speed limiters, reverse limiters, coolant fan temp, timing curves, 2 foot limiters, and enrichment AFR during spool.  In the grand scheme of things, these are minimal things that are not needing adjustment on the Mav R. Most of your power comes from the added turbocharger boost pressure, which we are getting done. Throttle Response Fix: The Mav R has adjustable modes, so unlike the X3 models, you can make it much more responsive. If needing more response, you can add our throttle control box. Our Throttle Control Box will allow you to increase\/decrease pedal response on the fly.  This also allows for you to de-tune the throttle for a Valet\/Kid mode if desired. Tune levels explained: We have 3 different pump gas tunes so customer can dial the vehicle to a usable power level for wherever they are riding. If any codes appear for fueling, boost, or transmission slip, we suggest backing the dial down a \"half tune\" or fully to the next lower tune. A stock Maverick R on our dyno was 225 RWHP with 32\" tires and runs roughly 19-21 PSI of boost.  All power levels listed below are done with the stock exhaust. Level 1 - 91-93 Octane: Level 1 is on the switch, but only gains roughly half a PSI.  Most will skip it, but it's there if you want a small 5 hp bump in power. Level 2 - 91-93 Octane -  232 RWHP \/ 250-255 crank HP: Our Level 2 tune is just a little bump in power when not wanting full squeeze.  This tune runs an average of 21-22 PSI (+1 to 1.5 PSI) of boost and is very safe with great gains on 91 octane fuel.  Gains 8-10 RWHP in the mid range.  Great tune when you want just a little bit more. Level 3 - 91-93 Octane - 240 RWHP \/ 260-270 crank HP: Our Level 3 tune is again designed for 91-93 octane and is very safe. This gains 17-20 RWHP in the mid-range.  This tune is absolutely nuts for being able to run on a bone stock Maverick R.  Peak boost is around 23-25 PSI (+2-3 PSI), and settles down to roughly 22-23 PSI.   Our blow off valve kit is recommended.  This tune will work great with stock exhaust but even better with aftermarket exhaust. Level 4 - 93+ Octane MAX tune - 255 RWHP Stock Exhaust\/ 261 RWHP AA Exhaust Open \/ 280-290 crank HP: Our Level 4 tune puts the hammer down on 93+ octane!  It will peak around 26-27 PSI and sustain around 24-25 PSI (+4-5 PSI).  This gains a huge 36 RWHP in the mid-range gain over factory!   Our blow off valve kit is highly recommended.  This tune will work great with stock exhaust but even better with aftermarket exhaust. If running hard (like in the dunes) we'd suggest running 93+ octane or mixing 91 octane with a booster to achieve 93-95 octane (or better).  93+ octane works best to maintain proper power under heavy loads.  This tune will run fine on 91 octane in short bursts. Max boost levels are listed as reference only. The oil catch can is a must-have for any Maverick R, and especially anyone running higher boost pressures.  What happens is the more boost you run, the more crank case pressure is created.  Your factory crank case vent is routed back into the intake tube.  With more crank case pressure and more suction from the turbo, oil will start to be pulled from the bottom end and enter the intake tract.  This is not good for sensors, or good to burn the oil from a performance standpoint.  Going with our closed loop catch can design will basically eliminate the oil entering your intake. Installs easily by plugging into your MAP sensors, battery power, and mounting the switch (optional, you do not have to mount it) Air\/fuel ratios extensively tested and verified at each tune level.  The Maverick R models are a wideband type sensor\/ECU, so they automatically trim fuel to the requested air\/fuel ratio.  In rare cases like extreme cold, a fuel control box may be needed if fuel trims are not able to adapt (it will throw a code, but highly unlikely) Safety parameters to protect your motor and turbocharger are still in place Easily return back to stock with the rotary switch to \"Stock\" mode, or by removing the AA Boost Control Box with no trace left in the ECU Boost Control Box vs ECU tuning: While we would always prefer to calibrate a vehicle by modifying OEM ECU parameters, it's simply not an easy task on these vehicles due to the insane 2048 bit security.  The Boost Control Box allows us to do what is needed for level 1-4 to increase the boost pressure \u0026amp; power output.  This gives the biggest benefit\/seat of the pants feel and is all that is needed to put a smile on your face as you wax your buddy.    The Maverick R  factory ECU calibration is quite decent, but we are missing out on some things we'd normally do... like removing the speed limiters, reverse limiters, coolant fan temp, timing curves, 2 foot limiters, and enrichment AFR during spool.  In the grand scheme of things, these are minimal things that are not needing adjustment on the Mav R. Most of your power comes from the added turbocharger boost pressure, which we are getting done. Throttle Response Fix: The Mav R has adjustable modes, so unlike the X3 models, you can make it much more responsive. If needing more response, you can add our throttle control box. Our Throttle Control Box will allow you to increase\/decrease pedal response on the fly.  This also allows for you to de-tune the throttle for a Valet\/Kid mode if desired. Tune levels explained: We have 3 different pump gas tunes so customer can dial the vehicle to a usable power level for wherever they are riding. If any codes appear for fueling, boost, or transmission slip, we suggest backing the dial down a \"half tune\" or fully to the next lower tune. A stock Maverick R on our dyno was 225 RWHP with 32\" tires and runs roughly 19-21 PSI of boost.  All power levels listed below are done with the stock exhaust. Level 1 - 91-93 Octane: Level 1 is on the switch, but only gains roughly half a PSI.  Most will skip it, but it's there if you want a small 5 hp bump in power. Level 2 - 91-93 Octane -  232 RWHP \/ 250-255 crank HP: Our Level 2 tune is just a little bump in power when not wanting full squeeze.  This tune runs an average of 21-22 PSI (+1 to 1.5 PSI) of boost and is very safe with great gains on 91 octane fuel.  Gains 8-10 RWHP in the mid range.  Great tune when you want just a little bit more. Level 3 - 91-93 Octane - 240 RWHP \/ 260-270 crank HP: Our Level 3 tune is again designed for 91-93 octane and is very safe. This gains 17-20 RWHP in the mid-range.  This tune is absolutely nuts for being able to run on a bone stock Maverick R.  Peak boost is around 23-25 PSI (+2-3 PSI), and settles down to roughly 22-23 PSI.   Our blow off valve kit is recommended.  This tune will work great with stock exhaust but even better with aftermarket exhaust. Level 4 - 93+ Octane MAX tune - 255 RWHP Stock Exhaust\/ 261 RWHP AA Exhaust Open \/ 280-290 crank HP: Our Level 4 tune puts the hammer down on 93+ octane!  It will peak around 26-27 PSI and sustain around 24-25 PSI (+4-5 PSI).  This gains a huge 36 RWHP in the mid-range gain over factory!   Our blow off valve kit is highly recommended.  This tune will work great with stock exhaust but even better with aftermarket exhaust. If running hard (like in the dunes) we'd suggest running 93+ octane or mixing 91 octane with a booster to achieve 93-95 octane (or better).  93+ octane works best to maintain proper power under heavy loads.  This tune will run fine on 91 octane in short bursts. Max boost levels are listed as reference only. Altitude, temperature, charge temps, intercooler temps and many other conditions play into a factor of final boost output. **Note our original 3\" side dump came out the side, our new style 3\" exhaust side dump now exits the rear**  Some pictures may be confusing, but it now exits out the rear of the vehicle and is a polished finish. See more information on this device HERE  \/  See how to use this device HERE Big horsepower gains depending on the level of tune\/modifications (see tune descriptions below for more details) Much quicker throttle response and power delivery giving a whole new feel to the vehicle Throttle by wire limiters disabled Fan on\/off at 185\/180 degrees Fahrenheit (Stock is 205\/192) which is just above the thermostat opening temp. Speed limiter removed in low and high gears Seatbelt Limiter Removed Start in Any Gear with Brake More throttle % in low gear and reverse as the factory limits these gears to not open the throttle fully Rev limit at a safe 9200 RPM (stock is 8800).  Ideal peak RPM @ 55 MPH is 8400-8600 with the flash, but 9200 is for ramp up overshoot\/top speed. AA's wicked timing curve is safe for the fuel octane recommended, but we do a much better job of finding timing limits for ramp up\/more torque.  Many others simply focus on wide open throttle timing\/fueling.  AA's tunes are developed for 91 octane unless specified otherwise. AA's modified fuel curve will still get decent mileage cruising, but is corrected over the factory lean AFR when needed most on higher throttle inputs. Included Level 2 Tune :  This tune is developed for an XP1K with aftermarket exhaust on 91-93 octane.  It has just a bit more timing and a bit more fuel over Level 1.  This tune adds +7 RWHP peak and a massive +9 RWHP at 30 MPH (This is gaining roughly +10-11 crank horsepower) putting you at roughly 125 crank horsepower with just a flash and exhaust!  We would highly suggest our clutch kit with this tune to help with belt grip and to help drive the extra power to the wheels.  Due to how these motors\/tuning works, this tune should work with about any aftermarket exhaust, but was tested and designed with our AA slip-on exhaust. Looking for race fuel tunes?  We were also, but unfortunately we found no real power increase by adding octane.  Certainly a little extra octane is never a bad thing to keep your ECU from pulling timing based on engine knock, but we tried various attempts to make more power with no significant results. Evap (50 State\/Cali model) or Non Evap (STD) Model: See the sticker located in your drivers side front wheel well as it will state which one you have. Why AA tunes over others?  We have been tuning UTV's with CVT clutches for a long time, longer than almost anyone in our field going back to the 800 RZR.  Tuning a CVT vehicle properly is not an easy task as you have so many variables at one time.  We spend the time to wheel dyno(with actual UTV tires) correctly per modification, and have advanced ECU calibration and clutching knowledge to do so. Every change in horsepower can result in us changing clutching several times. We also develop most of our supporting mods so we know everything works correctly, and build parts to fit the vehicles needs.  Lastly and honestly the most important; we then back up our results with real world data logging on local trails and our facility on 110 acres.  It's this combination that truly makes the difference and why AA normally has a faster vehicle with the same or less rated tune horsepower. The 2024+ XP 1000 is clutched very odd from the factory.  The vehicle winds out RPM right from the gate and does not transfer any torque until you hit peak RPM.  This is somewhat of a race setup, but really all around it does not work well.  Our kit helps combat this with our helix specifically designed for this model, along with our weights and springs that are all key components in transferring power to the rear tire efficiently.  This is shown on the dyno and felt in real world driving (butt dyno).  The clutch kit also adds huge belt grip and is especially needed when going to larger tires.  The Performance helix gains the most acceleration, while the High Load helix is a little more than stock but less aggressive for excessively heavy\/large tires, crawling, or mud riding. Our \"Cruiser\" setup (listed in the included clutch setup sheet) is for those looking for less cruising RPM and less noise.  The '24 RZR XP1K has a higher running RPM from the factory and is extremely loud for a stock machine.  The cruiser option loads the primary clutch weights heavier with the included magnets.  No need to purchase a completely different kit if looking for a quieter ride.  This setup drops peak RPM down to roughly 7500-7800 RPM instead of 8300-8600 like factory.  This does lose a bit of horsepower, but if that's not your concern, this setup works extremely well for eliminating that brain rattling buzz.  This setup also has even smoother engagement, crawls very well, and still has plenty of acceleration.  Think more of a cross between a Ranger and RZR as far as acceleration and feel.   The best part is you are not stuck with this setup.  You can simply revert back to our standard clutch setups whenever wanting more performance.  Switching the weights takes 15-30 minutes for most and gives you a chance to clean up\/inspect your clutches. High Load Helix 1067: Slightly less aggressive than the Performance helix with good acceleration gains\/power transfer over the OEM helix.  Designed to work better for heavier vehicles, heavier tires, heavy sand load or crawling type riding in mind.   Works on 2 \u0026amp; 4 seat models with 30-35\" tires or 30-33\"  paddles.   Excellent all-around helix!   Performance Helix 1068:   Aggressive helix with acceleration\/higher horsepower\/aggressive fast pace drivers in mind. Works best with a tuned vehicle.  Works on 2 seat models with  30-32\" Tires.  Not suggested for 4 seat models. EBS (Engine Braking) Options: Keep EBS: Like factory.  Most slower pace riders (mud, crawling or very hilly terrain) will keep the EBS in place.  Gets rid of the chatter noise but there is a decel whine. Remove EBS: Removes the EBS pocket in the helix.  Gets rid of the roller clunk noise but there is a decel whine.  Most faster pace trail riders\/racers or dune riders will choose to remove it. These tunes modify all the necessary maps to create big horsepower, while still maintaining a reliable and safe General.  Each tune is built specifically for your Powervision allowing us to change the tire size or fan temp if needed. This package also features our Stage 2 clutch kit!  No matter the terrain, they hit hard and just keep pulling for days.  On the trails you'll notice wicked acceleration and instant clutch response when getting back into the throttle after hammering that corner.  In the dunes you'll see the same benefits, but also have much less bogging when climbing that big dune.  The machine will hold RPM so you can get where you need to go, and get there faster!  Going mudding?  Our mud setup will help turn those tires through the thick and deep with much better RPM and wheel speed that's key to climbing out of that hole. The factory timing map is very de-tuned on the General 1000 model along with a few key areas of mapping that is lacking.  We give you the tune the factory should have from the start! We go the extra mile to make sure everything is gained, and have a few extra tricks up our sleeve because we test in the real world. Other maps take their time to hit peak timing numbers which really hurts performance. Our map gets you into peak timing quicker, so max power seems more instant. We also have a great fuel curve that is designed to go with our timing curve, and offers better fueling for more power at WOT.  We also do some work with torque limiters as in the dirt we saw throttle closures when spinning the tires. Our map fixes that issue giving you 100% locked power delivery.  We also do the easy things like up the speed limiter to where you will never hit, disable 2 foot limiters, disable seatbelt limiters \u0026amp; more. Basically, this is the all out tune that has all the features you want built right into it.  To help better transfer the power gained to the wheels, and to achieve proper peak RPM, this kit includes our Stage 2 Clutch Kit. We offer two clutch kits : Standard Load : Meant for stock or near stock size tires (27-30\") and is the one for most fast pace trail riders or racers. High Load : Meant for those with larger tires (31-32\"), mud tires, dune riders, and those with paddles 28\" or larger.  Mudding and duning are considered high load and must be clutched slightly different.  The components for our mud and dune setups (high load) are the same, but you'll notice your setup guideline for the Recoil adjustable weights will be different between those two applications. EBS (Engine Braking) Options : Keep Engine Braking : Like factory.  Most slower pace riders (mud, crawling or very hilly terrain) will keep the EBS in place. Remove Engine Braking : - Removes the EBS pocket in the helix.  Gets rid of the roller clunk noise.  Most faster pace trail riders\/racer or dune riders will choose to remove it. Our \"Cruiser\" option is for those looking for less cruising RPM and less noise.  The cruiser option loads the primary clutch weights heavier with our slug magnets.  These magnets are like 5 magnets in one large slug, whereas our standard magnets are only able to fit 3 in each hole.  This allows us to run more weight in the arms without having to purchase a completely different kit.  This kit option drops peak RPM down to roughly 7400-7700 RPM instead of 8300 like factory.  This does lose a bit of horsepower, but if that's not your concern, this add-on option works extremely well.  This setup also has even smoother engagement, crawls very well, and still has plenty of acceleration.  Think more of a cross between a Ranger and RZR as far as acceleration and feel.  The best part is you are not stuck with this option.  You can simply revert back to our standard clutch setup whenever wanting more performance.  Switching the weights takes 15-30 minutes for most and gives you a chance to clean up\/inspect your clutches. With our newly designed dual muffler design, this exhaust sounds amazing with a nice deep tone but not louder than the OEM exhaust.  At idle, off idle and wide open throttle you will notice a bit more rumble but when cruising, this exhaust is quieter than the stock exhaust (1-2 dB lower with the 1.5\" Quiet Core).  The deeper tone helps cover up some of the engine noise\/drone. If you'd still like less sound, you can install our 1.5\" Stealth Quiet Core.  Installing this core drops 1-2 horsepower and sound lower than factory levels by 1-2 dB with nearly the same note. AA 2.5\" Spark Arrestor is optional for those wanting to be trail legal **Exhaust cannot be used with both the spark arrestor and 1.5\" Stealth Core at the same time** Much better airflow which is needed to decrease heat Gains a massive 10-12 HP with the 2.5\" opening, or if you opt for the 1.5\" core, you still gain a big 8-10 HP.
