Installation Considerations and Load Ratings
Installation can vary based on fasteners, hole patterns, and surfaces. For this reason, we do not provide a standard working load limit for each fastener spacing. Our track matches the strength of compatible fittings, but secure installation is essential. Installers should ensure correct attachment for optimal strength.
We recommend 4″ to 6″ hole spacing for trailers and automobile use, and 8″ spacing for lighter loads. Additionally, our track has passed pull testing with a 2,000 lb working load limit on profile B, C and D, ensuring its strength when installed properly.
