Wireless remote control option for single function jacks. It lets one person run the jack while standing where they can actually see the coupler, the jack foot and the ground, instead of at the switch box.

The switchgear stays

A remote is an addition to the switchgear, not a replacement for it. EQ Systems trailer jacks ship with a keyed switch and harness as standard, and that remains the primary control. Keyed switchgear also prevents unauthorized use, which a remote does not.

If the remote will not operate the jack

Confirm the jack runs normally from the switchgear first. If it does not, the fault is in the jack circuit rather than the remote: check battery voltage at the key switch, then that voltage passes to the rocker switch center terminals, then that pressing the rocker sends voltage to the outer terminals. EQ Systems hydraulic pumps draw heavy current, so a weak battery presents as an intermittent control fault.
